Model22 Boiler Conductivity Controller.

The prototype of the Model22 Boiler Conductivity Controller is in its final testing stages.

 We are currently evaluating the latest software version.

The Model22 will replace the CS2 Boiler controller.

The Model22 will be released early next year.

Common problems and solutions:

1) CS2 Boiler controller.

Please note that the CS2 is only reading when the unit is blowing-down.
If the reading is incorrect check the wiring to the probe.

“TARGET” CE-4M Boiler Probe Connections.
The “Target CE-4M” boiler probe must be connected to the CS2 boiler controller as follows:
Probe plug connections: 1= NOT USED
2= CENTRE PIN. → CS2 terminal = 2
E= PROBE BODY → CS2 terminal = 1

2.) Model 11EC and Model 31EC Conductivity Controller.

Not reading correctly.
This is normally due to deposits on the electrodes. Soak in a diluted HCl Solution for 5 minutes.

 Soak in a weak alkaline solution for 5 minutes. Rinse and clean with dishwashing liquid and a soft brush.
Do not use a metal brush to clean electrodes.

3) C8 uS/TDS Meter.

Not reading correctly.

This is normally due to deposits on the electrodes inside the cup.
To remove solid deposits use fine sandpaper wrapped around the back of a pen.
Wipe with a tissue and methylated spirits.
Replace the battery if the “Low Bat” sign is showing.
Wait for 2 minutes after pouring liquid into cup before switching on the meter.
This allows the automatic temperature compensation to work correctly.

4) Model51 and Model61 pH Controllers.

If the reading is incorrect then calibrate the unit

with two pH buffer solutions,one solution must be a pH7 buffer,

the other can be a pH4 or pH9 solution.

If it is not possible to calibrate then replace the pH probe.
